The beginning of Icarus and Daidalus leaving the Labyrinth.
Will update this painting as soon as I´ve done more.
I am drawing for the figures.
I´ll be trying to capture the feeling of relief, when leaving a trap, and the minotaur left behind knowing he can never escape. Daidalus was the one making it possible for the minotaur to be born, and he built the labyrinth to hold the monster captive. He and his son Icarus were thrown into the labyrinth, but they managed to escape.
Strike paintings
Demonstrations are a drama in our time, where people express their anger and despair. I have never participated in a violent march, and I do not know if I ever could accept violence toward other human beings.
But I can understand the feelings.
